Four books, made one at a time.
Tenet Press commits to a small number of works and gives each one its whole attention. Every title is published in the same three editions, so the choice is always about how you want to own the book rather than which version of it you are getting.
Dates are the years we are working toward, not shipping promises. Prices are announced when a title is ready to be ordered.
The three editions
One book.Three ways to own it.
The same complete text and the same commissioned art in all three. What changes is the material, the binding, the enclosure, and whether the artist has signed and numbered your copy.
Prices for each title are announced when that title opens for order.
The reading edition
Artist Edition
Open. Not numbered.
The complete work, with every commissioned illustration, set in full and bound to be read and re-read. It is kept in print rather than limited, so the book stays available to anyone who wants it.

- Permanent slipcase
- Full Tenet presentation
Signed and numbered

The programme
Milton’s epic of freedom, ambition, and the cost of choice, composed after he lost his sight and arranged into twelve books in 1674. The text set here is that 1674 arrangement, complete and unabridged.

Second title
Leaves of Grass
Walt Whitman · Poetry
The book Whitman rewrote for most of his life, and the one that taught American poetry to speak in its own voice. Expansive, physical, and generous, it is the natural companion to an epic.

Third title
The Blue Castle
L. M. Montgomery · Fiction

Fourth title
The Prophet
Kahlil Gibran · Poetry
