We make limited editions that honor enduring works through original art, deliberate form, and materials chosen to last.
The press
To inspire alove of books
Beautiful books drew me into reading early. Their covers, materials, and typography made the worlds inside feel more vivid and worth keeping.
That sense of discovery remains the reason for Tenet Press: to make books that invite attention, reward close reading, and endure.
The founder
Experience & Design
I have spent twenty years designing and leading design across physical and digital work.
Tenet Press brings that experience back to tangible objects: books made carefully, by human hands, one work at a time.
Tenet Press is operated out of Great Falls, Montana.
AI Policies
Our AI Pledge
Artificial intelligence can be useful for administrative systems, research and analysis, customer support and fulfilment, and work on this website.
For creative expression, Tenet Press draws a firm line. AI will not direct an artist, frame a scene, generate text, lay out a page, alter an image, or take part in making our books.
Each book is made by people, and every artist, designer, and typesetter responsible is named.
No artificial intelligence touches the making of our books. Every creative decision belongs to a person whose name appears in the book.
The mission
The edition gives something back.
One percent of gross edition revenue is divided between reading access and direct support for working human artists.
Eden Edition set 399 is the Community Copy. It will be given to a Montana special collection that can preserve it and make it available for supervised reading.
Eden Edition set 400 is the Reader’s Copy. It will be given at no charge to one eligible active member of the Tenet Press list. The drawing is not open yet; its dates, eligibility, retail value, and full rules will be published before it begins, and no purchase will be necessary.
After each edition, Tenet Press will name the recipients and report what was given.
What follows
One work at a time.
Tenet Press will publish poetry, epics, classics, and modern works that reward sustained attention.
The books may differ greatly from one another. What will remain is the standard: human authorship, original art, deliberate form, durable materials, and enough time to make the work with care.
